Our Verdict on the Volkswagen Atlas
The Atlas follows the same sophisticated design language as the other Volkswagen’s that is pleasing to look at. Its turbocharged four-cylinder engine packs enough power and offers refined performance. The Tiptronic gearbox could have been a little smoother but the steering feedback is obedient. It provides the most spacious cabin in this segment and it also offers a generous boot space. Its interior fit & finish look urbane and it is laden with a good amount of features. If you are looking for a mid-size family SUV car, then the Volkswagen Atlas should be definitely on your watchlist.

Volkswagen Atlas FAQs
It comes with 3-row seats and it can accommodate 7 passengers.
It offers a minimum ground clearance of 181 mm.
Its fuel tank capacity is 70.4 litres
With the 3rd row folded, this SUV provides a boot space of nearly 583 litres.
If it comes to India which will be the flagship SUV and it has every potential overthrow forthcoming Fortuner and easily win over MG Gloster.
Only thing, it should be launched as such without taking any cost cutting routes which would spoil the very basics of this great SUV.
Since Indian mindset is changing rapidly and they are looking at Lexus type of SUV, anything close to 50 K US $ for this German SUV will be a breakthrough.
This is my honest opinion.
